Deutsches Haus
Our house exists already since the year 1872. In the first years, the focus was initially on agriculture. A small Vesperstube was part of the German Court.
In 1988 Karlheinz and Elke Riexinger took over the farm and developed it into a Swabian inn in the following years. When the sons Michael and Matthias Riexinger join the business after completing their culinary training, the family invests in an in-house butcher shop, the hotel, additional dining rooms, and a new kitchen.
Since 2018, the Kaltenwang beer garden by the lake also invites you to linger.

Hotel
Our cozy country hotel has 21 comfort double rooms. The location offers an idyllic view of the three Kaiserberge (Emperor Mountains) and invites you to linger during a vacation on the Swabian Alb. But our house is also suitable for a relaxing stopover on a longer trip.
Also for hikers of the HW 1 or the Albtraufgänger our hotel is the ideal stopover to recharge your batteries for the next stage.
Tavern
In our Swabian Tavern you can expect a wide selection of dishes with continuous warm cuisine.
The chef Michael Riexinger spoils you with a regional and seasonal cuisine. Swabian specialties, such as Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli), Zwiebelrostbraten (roast beef with onions) or game from our own hunting grounds are the main focus.
Marketplace
At our marketplace you can buy a variety of our Swabian specialties for home.
In addition to the homemade meat and sausage products from master butcher Karlheinz Riexinger, we also offer daily fresh bread, cakes and pies from the bakery of Elke Riexinger. You will also find products such as jam, oils, schnapps and flour from our regional partner farms.

Whether you are planning a small or a large meeting, our meeting rooms and large hall are available upon request to make your business event a success. Our Landgasthof is located at the foot of the Swabian Alb with a view of the lower Filstal and the three Kaiserberge (Emperor Mountains). The transport connection is also ideal for a short stopover due to the proximity to the A8 freeway.
